The thi<\/span>rd<\/span> day of the Menlopark netball festival looked promising and most of the games were played, but round 55 the games were stopped because of bad weather, and the rest of the day\u2019s games were unfortunately canceled. <\/span><\/p>\n

It seems the rain just won\u2019t stay away from this tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the rain – the hosts, <\/span>Menlopark u18\u2019s <\/b>won all their games just like <\/span>Milnerton <\/b>who will end up with the most wins, if these two schools go up against each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

Noordheuwel <\/b>lost their first game against <\/span>Menlopark<\/b> 27-14 but got their revenge when they won against <\/span>Secunda <\/b>22-21.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oranje <\/b>of Bloemfontein got back to winning ways with victories over Secunda<\/strong> (24-11) and Paarl Gimnasium<\/strong> (17-16).<\/p>\n

Paarl Girls’ High <\/b>won against their opponents <\/span>Florida <\/b>with a massive score gap of 29-6. In the same lane of big scores is the victory <\/span>Drostdy <\/b>scored against <\/span>Merensky <\/b>32-13, along with Ho\u00ebrskool <\/strong><\/span>Middelburg <\/b>that won 38-9 against <\/span>Kalahari<\/b>.<\/span> <\/b><\/p>\n

Paarl Girls’ High<\/b> beat <\/span>Ben Vorster <\/b>30-7. <\/span><\/p>\n

Monument <\/b>walked away from the court extremely happy with their score against <\/span>Frikkie Meyer<\/b> 34-3.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other age group news, <\/span>u14 Paarl Gimnasium <\/b>won against the <\/span>u15 Lichtenburg <\/b>22-5, just like <\/span>u16 Lichtenburg <\/b>won <\/span>u17 Linden <\/b>20-10. Also, <\/span>u14 Duineveld <\/b>won against <\/span>u15 Linden <\/b>9-4.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just like the first two days, day three delivered on good netball and great support on the side lines. With everybody looking forward to what the final day will bring, hopefully a full day without weather interruptions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Will the host walk away from the tournament as the overall winners or will someone else come in for the steal at the last minute?<\/span><\/p>\n
