\"\"Parktown Boys\u2019 High flanker <\/span>Okwenkisi Sibeko<\/b> scored a hat-trick of tries to secure a comprehensive 13 point win over Johannesburg locals Northcliff High School.<\/span><\/p>\n

Northcliff were the first side to register points from an easily converted penalty by inside center\u00a0 <\/span>Luke Roos<\/b>, who scored a further penalty later in the half.<\/span><\/p>\n

The teams were evenly matched with the halftime score sitting at 7-6 to Parktown Boys\u2019 High. Parktown carried most of the possession throughout the first half.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winger <\/span>Revel Meth<\/b> had a fantastic run weaving between the Northcliff defense, where he was taken down just before the try line. He put his team in a good position to score their third try of the match through scrumhalf <\/span>Thembela Folo<\/b> who scored a diving try.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the second half Northcliff were not going to back down from the challenge, scoring three\u00a0 and were looking at putting together a fightback to try claw their way back into contention. <\/span>Ethan Hayes<\/b>, <\/span>Ziyaad Bhyat<\/b> and <\/span>Jordan Swanepoel<\/b> all adding points next to their names.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However Parktown scored again with captain <\/span>Sandsiso Sitole <\/b>accumulating more points this season<\/span>, <\/b>he<\/span> was impressive in both offensive and defensive play. Along with eight man <\/span>Busisizwe Mngomezulu <\/b>taking the match further away from the visitors and putting the nail in the coffin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Parktown band was in full-swing throughout the match providing energy throughout. The first XV will go into next week\u2019s fixture against St John’s College feeling confident.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Northcliff have shown glimpses of promise this season and are a team which are willing to put in the hard yards against the bigger more traditional boys schools where the pool and depth of players is slightly larger.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
