The Wesgrow Series<\/strong> continues this weekend after the holiday break.<\/p>\n

Fichardtpark<\/strong> will be looking to continue asserting their dominance and build on their undefeated record for the season when they host Goudveld-Ho\u00ebrskool<\/strong> in Bloemfontein on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Fichie Lions have been unstoppable this year, and they have recently been rewarded for their hard work during the season when Jaco Grobbelaar<\/strong> became their first player ever to be selected for the SA Schools<\/strong> team.<\/p>\n

Their big lock has played a crucial role in their success this season, along with his scrumhalf, Devant\u00e9 Claassen<\/strong>, the two wingers, Edward Mpinga<\/strong> and Janco Mollentze<\/strong> and their hooker, Luhan du Plessis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The visitors are yet to get their first win in the Wesgrow series this year, and playing against Fichardtpark in Bloemfontein will not be an easy fixture at all.<\/p>\n

Jim Fouch\u00e9<\/strong> travels to Witteberg<\/strong> for their fixture.<\/p>\n

Their captain and Craven Week hooker, Stefan Venter<\/strong>, has been their talisman this year. He and his forward pack come up against a Witteberg side who have impressed over the holiday, with many of their players excelling over the holiday at the VKB Week<\/strong> and the Rhino Week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Their eighth man, Daniel Meintjies<\/strong>, and scrumhalf, Dries Stemmet<\/strong>, have been the standout players for the team from Bethlehem this year.<\/p>\n

Their neighbouring school, Voortrekker<\/strong>, hosts Diamantveld<\/strong> for their clash.<\/p>\n

The Diamonds found their form before the break with two impressive wins over Duineveld (30-15) and Ho\u00ebrskool Trio (21-15).<\/p>\n

They will look to continue building on that momentum this weekend. Their Academy Week centre, Simon Liversage<\/strong>, starred for the Griqua team in Johannesburg over the holiday, and their Griqua Craven Week players, Valentino Lenge<\/strong> (centre), Kyle Taute<\/strong> (winger), JJ Fourie<\/strong> (flanker), Achiles de Jager<\/strong> (flanker), FJ de Fries<\/strong> (prop) also performed well in George.<\/p>\n

Voortrekker also had three players in the Griffons Craven Week team, with their lively scrumhalf, Alex Maree<\/strong>, their fullback, Tumi Khoza<\/strong> and their big prop, Cecil Parsons<\/strong> being selected to represent their province at the highest level for their age grades.<\/p>\n

Their big hooker who can run like a winger, Arnold Ras<\/strong>, was also a standout performer at the Academy Week.<\/p>\n

Ho\u00ebrskool Trio<\/strong> had seven players in the Griffons Craven Week team and they will be looking to assert their dominance over Sentraal<\/strong> who have struggled to realize their full potential this season.<\/p>\n

Their flyhalf, Byron Biennas<\/strong>, and centre, BJ Pelser<\/strong>, also combined exceptionally well at the Academy Week, leading the charge for the Griffons at that event.<\/p>\n
