Durban High School<\/strong> was crowned champions of the second leg of the High School 7’s Series<\/strong> hosted by Glenwood in Durban.<\/p>\n

DHS defeated Westville Boys’ High<\/strong> by 21-19 in the final of the tournament. These two sides also met in the first match of the series which was won handsomely (26-10) by Westville Boys’ High.<\/p>\n

Westville knocked out the hosts, Glenwood, with a convincing 33-5 victory in the semi-final. DHS booked their place in the final by beating Northwood by 14-5.<\/p>\n

Westville Boys’ High was crowned champions of the u15-tournament after defeating DHS by 31-12 in the age-group final.<\/p>\n

DHS have not only secured the title but also a spot in the Champion of Champions tournament that will be hosted during the weekend of 13 & 14 October.<\/p>\n

Durban High School will host the third leg of the tournament this coming weekend, while Lilyfontein High School will also host a tournament in the series in East London this Saturday.<\/p>\n
