<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/supersportschools\">Register now<\/a> &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/live.supersportschools.com\/category\/606f65f91eea03755e56797c\/sub-category\/64ff1ebbdd5aaaa61141f95b\/\">Link to the tournament<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Boland Landbou boys have shown glimpses of their potential over the previous couple of tournaments but found their rhythm this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The u17s finished on top of their pool after getting through Forward Foundation (38-0), Ho\u00ebrskool Durbanville (36-7), Augsburg (53-0) and holding on against an inspired attack by the hosts, Hugenote, to win by 26-17.<\/p>\n<p>In the quarter-finals, they saw away with Ho\u00ebrskool Bellville by 31-7 before ending the boys from Ho\u00ebrskool Durbanville&#8217;s tournament in the semis with 39 unanswered points.<\/p>\n<p>They played against <strong>Paarl Gimnasium<\/strong> in the final, who had to hold on for dear life to survive a late Stellenberg onslaught in the semi-finals.<\/p>\n<p>The Boland boys held a 14-7 lead at halftime, and both teams only managed to score one additional try in the final seven minutes, giving Boland Landbou the 19-14 victory over their big rivals from Paarl.<\/p>\n<p>The u15s won their final against Paul Roos by the same margin, beating the Stellenbosch boys by 24-19 to become the first champions of the brand-new tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The Paul Roos u17s came into the weekend as the favourites after having won the two major tournaments over the last couple of weeks, beating Grey College in both finals, first in Potchefstroom at the NWU Prestige Schools Festival, then in Paarl at the Marius Schoeman Sevens festival.<\/p>\n<p>The boys from Stellenbosch are yet to go through a weekend unbeaten though, and after two weeks of non-stop action, they seemed to run out of steam this weekend losing to Stellenberg first by 7-0 before being knocked out of the Cup competition in the quarter-finals after going down against Paarl Gimnasium by 33-19.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, they met Oakdale in the semi-finals for the Plate, but the boys from Riversdal proved too strong as well, beating Paul Roos by 45-5 to bring an end to their weekend.<\/p>\n<p>With 40 of the top rugby schools in the Cape already competing at this first edition of the tournament, producing top-quality schoolboy sevens rugby all weekend, the future of this brand-new platform looks exciting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All the results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>u17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pool stage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pool A:\u00a0<\/strong>Paarl Boys&#8217;
