While the rest of the country takes the long weekend off to celebrate the public holiday, Eastern Cape will host their Netball League championship games.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ECSN championships will be held on 16 and 17 June on a span of two venues. The u16 age group team will have their matches at Hudson Park High School in Vincent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The rest of the age groups (u15, u17 and u19) will play on the Grens courts. Ho\u00ebrskool Despatch from Botharus will travel to Baysville (Grens) to defend their two-year winning streak in the League.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year, they defeated Pearson college 34-26 and are looking forward to great contesting games which they are prepared for.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ho\u00ebrskool Grens, the hosts, finished third last year. As much as their team will fight to win, their coach says it\u2019s important that the girls still have fun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe training that you do before the exams is important. As long as they maintain what they trained before the exams. Hopefully, that will help us this weekend\u201d Arlien Myburg, first team coach, told Superschools.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grens will be on the lookout for Framesby and Despatch, their biggest competitors. They recently faced and defeated Hudson Park High.<\/span><\/p>\n

These games come as the girls complete their June examination periods. Friday\u2019s matches will start at 08:00 and end at 17:00. Saturday\u2019s games will start at 08:00 and end at 15:00.<\/span><\/p>\n
