\"\"The excitement is growing ahead of South Africa’s annual national and regional schools’ cricket weeks. The CSA Girls Week<\/strong>, which starts on the 10th of December, will have supporters and players of the fast-growing women’s game pinned to the edge of their seats.<\/p>\n

With the likely addition of a Women’s SA20 league<\/strong>, alongside the already successful men’s edition, the young ladies representing their respective provinces will be looking to stamp their authority over the coming five days in the hope of furthering their cricket careers.<\/p>\n

The Week takes place in South Africa’s Mother City, Cape Town<\/strong>. The hosts Western Province<\/strong> kick off their campaign against the Mpumalanga Rhinos,<\/strong> from up north, and will be looking to get off to a dominant start on home soil.<\/p>\n

Another powerhouse, the Gauteng Lions<\/strong>, will tackle South Western Districts, now known as the Garden Route Badgers<\/strong>, while their old foes from across the Jukskei, the Titans<\/strong> face Kei<\/strong> on day one.<\/p>\n

The two Kwazulu-Natal sides, KZN Coastal<\/strong> and KZN Inland<\/strong>, start their five-day campaigns against formidable opposition when they face Border<\/strong> and Northern Cape<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n

Looking at the lineup of fixtures, they foreshadow an action-packed week, with the cream of South Africa’s emerging talent eager to prove themselves, with an eye on higher honours in the near future.<\/p>\n
