(Photo by Michaell Sheehan\/Gallo Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MAKHANDA. \u2013 <strong>Gauteng<\/strong> and <strong>KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong> will face each other in the main match of this year\u2019s edition of the <strong>Khaya Majola Week<\/strong> here.<\/p>\n<p>Catch all the action live on <strong>SuperSport Schools<\/strong> (www.supersportschools.com).<\/p>\n<p>These sides are two of the three unbeaten sides left after the fourth day. All the matches on the fourth day were affected by rain with only three matches delivering results.<\/p>\n<p>The main match will be played at Graeme College\u2019s <strong>Somerset Field<\/strong>. The school is celebrating its 150<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary this year and this match will be the conclusion of a memorable year.<\/p>\n<p>Both semi-finals didn\u2019t deliver a result.<\/p>\n<p>Gauteng\u2019s match against the <strong>Titans<\/strong> was restricted to 26 overs per team. When the match was called off after rain interrupted play in the afternoon the Titans were on 19 without loss after only five deliveries.<\/p>\n<p>The other semi-final between KwaZulu-Natal and <strong>KZN Inland<\/strong> was restricted to 36 overs per side. The latter was on 59\/3 after 14 overs when play was called off.<\/p>\n<p>KwaZulu-Natal\u2019s <strong>Hayden Bishop<\/strong> (108*) helped his side earlier to reach 208\/4 in their allotted overs.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Free State<\/strong> and the hosts, <strong>Eastern Province<\/strong>, will be fighting for survival in the Platinum-section on the final day of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Free State will face the only other unbeaten side, <strong>Mpumalanga<\/strong>, in their promotion\/relegation clash, while Eastern Province will take on <strong>North West<\/strong> for a spot in next year\u2019s Platinum-section.<\/p>\n<p>North West\u2019s <strong>Muhammad Bulbulia<\/strong> (84) and <strong>Marneau Dreyer<\/strong> (82) shared an opening partnership of 165 runs to help their side to 1985\/5 in their allotted 35 overs.<\/p>\n<p>Northern Cape\u2019s <strong>Simon Liversage<\/strong> (59) was, without a doubt, with <strong>Malan Lubbe,<\/strong> their side\u2019s stalwarts in Makhanda. North West, however, won the clash by 56 runs according to the Duckworth\/Lewis-method.<\/p>\n<p>It was one of only three matches where a result was produced.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Easterns<\/strong> were in a devastating mood against Kei. Their opening batsmen, <strong>Aldr\u00e9 Huyzer<\/strong> (164) and <strong>Sabelo Mabanga<\/strong> (142) shared a partnership of 311 runs to get their side to a massive 412\/2 in 37 overs.<\/p>\n<p>Huyzer\u2019s innings is the third highest ever at the Khaya Majola Week. Only outdone by Free State\u2019s <strong>Rilee Rossouw<\/strong>\u2019s 182 versus Kei back in 2006, as well as <strong>Jaco Booysen<\/strong> of Easterns\u2019 179 against the Free State in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Huyzer only faced 105 deliveries and struck 14 fours and eight sixes in his innings.
