Opening batsman <strong>Kashief Joseph<\/strong> demonstrated his batting prowess once again, improving his tally for the year by another 39 runs.<\/p>\n<p>Saints&#8217; South African u19 representative, <strong>Richard Seletswane<\/strong>, held up Bishops&#8217; push for victory, showing great composure as he compiled 59 runs from 123 deliveries. Unfortunately for Seletswane, he didn&#8217;t receive any significant support, although Cayden Sunker did his bit, making 22.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Waco Bassick<\/strong> delivered another strong performance with the ball, putting Saints under early pressure and finishing with 3\/37. <strong>Tiaan Louw<\/strong> (2\/35) and <strong>Peyton Lee<\/strong> (2\/39) supported him well with four wickets between them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joshua Meyer<\/strong> (2\/23) was the pick of the Saints&#8217; bowlers. <strong>Cayden Sunker<\/strong> (2\/34) and <strong>Pranav Raichetti<\/strong> (2\/37) also removed two Bishops&#8217; batsmen each but, when St Stithians batted, they found the Bishops&#8217; bowling a tough challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Captain <strong>Matthew West<\/strong> led <strong>St David&#8217;s Marist Inanda<\/strong> to a 37-run victory over Hilton College, making a masterful 94 runs from 136 balls before he was run out.<\/p>\n<p>He then backed up his fine batting performance by taking three wickets while yielding only 27 runs.<strong> Jason Rowles<\/strong>, however, was the pick of the St David&#8217;s bowlers, bagging figures of four wickets for just 20 runs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luke Campbell<\/strong> led the Hilton attack, claiming his side&#8217;s best figures of three wickets for 25 runs, while <strong>Natenzi Denega<\/strong> continued his good rhythm from day one, knocking over 3\/38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robert Burman<\/strong> shone with the bat for Hilton, scoring a mature 58 runs from 92 runs, while <strong>James Ogilby<\/strong> battled manfully, scoring a well-played 47 runs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Henricus Meyer&#8217;s<\/strong> return to form was a sight to behold as Helpmekaar thumped the Titans Invitation team by a massive margin of 140 runs.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer cracked an unbeaten 130 and picked up 2\/15 with the ball, while <strong>Anrich Liebenberg<\/strong> also showed his class, backing up Meyer with 58 runs, and producing Helpmekaar&#8217;s best bowling figures of 2\/7.<\/p>\n<p>Michaelhouse made light work of St George&#8217;s College, from Harare. <strong>Murray Hall-Jones<\/strong> led a batting onslaught with an unbeaten 82 runs, while <strong>Ethan Muir<\/strong> made 72 runs from 99 balls at the top of the order as &#8216;House posted 260\/6.<\/p>\n<p>Michaelhouse&#8217;s impressive spin twins, <strong>Cameron Strudwick<\/strong> (3\/7) and<strong> Jean-Luc Rey<\/strong> (3\/12) then tore the heart from the St George&#8217;s batting line-up as the Zimbabwean&#8217;s spluttered to 49 all out.
