<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/supersportschools\">Register now<\/a> &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/BrackenfellSportsWeekend2024\">Link to the event<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brackenfell<\/strong>&#8216;s 1st XV plays under the lights on Friday, taking on <strong>Hopefield<\/strong> at 20:30, in front of their home supporters.<\/p>\n<p>They had a challenging start to their campaign this year when they took on Framesby at the pre-season <a href=\"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/noordheuwel-settles-the-score-at-thrilling-outeniqua-sports-day\/\">Outeniqua 101 Year Festival<\/a> last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Though they lost that match 12-31, there were promising signs, with players like their fullback,<strong> Zane van Schalkwyk<\/strong>, who crossed the line twice in that match, showing off their capabilities on attack.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefield enjoyed a solid season last year and ended their campaign with a decisive 60-5 win over <strong>Melkbosstrand<\/strong>, so it will be exciting to see if they can recreate that form against the hosts this early in 2024, especially since the Melkies got one over Brackenfell at the Drostdy pre-season sports day, at the beginning of March, winning 14-10.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the game between <strong>Worcester Gimnasium<\/strong> and <strong>Tygerberg<\/strong> promises to be a highlight.<\/p>\n<p>The Gimmies were an exciting team to follow in 2023 and they hit the ground running, winning both of their matches at the Drostdy festival, and then recorded a 19-0 victory over <strong>Langenhoven Gim<\/strong> at the Kwagga Sports Day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Armaan Adendorff<\/strong> (prop) and <strong>Aiden Abrahams<\/strong> (flyhalf) have emerged as two exciting prospects for the team from Worcester.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tigers<\/strong> got off to a slow start at the HTS Drostdy event, but with a proud rugby heritage, and boasting alumni like the <a href=\"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/the-facts-dont-count-for-tygerbergs-springbok-duo\/\">World Cup-winning lock-duo of Eben Etzebeth and Marvin Orie<\/a>, you can count on the boys from Tygerberg to put on a show against the Bolanders on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEAMS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Brackenfell vs Hopefield on Friday at 20:30:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Brackenfell:\u00a0<\/strong>15 Zane van Schalkwyk, 14 Cwenga Ntsapho, 13 Jaydon la Douce, 12 Marquine Abrahams, 11 Liam Lucas, 10 Junior Louw, 9 Jaydin Basson, 8 Wade Fortuin, 7 Dawson Lombard, 6 Dante Johnson, 5 Antwone Julies, 4 Zander van Zyl, 3 Graigan Matroos, 2 Matthew Wyngaard, 1 Ntsikayomzi Njongonkulu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hopefield:\u00a0<\/strong>15 Jayden Engelbrecht, 14 Anzo Bester, 13 Ruben Mostert, 12 Du-Wayne Brains, 11 Aris Barend, 10 Bronwen Williams, 9 Evan Momsen, 8 Henro Kotze, 7 Zavier Smit, 6 Boeta Schreuder, 5 Aidan Strydom, 4 Clint Afrika, 3 Joshua Viljoen, 2 Ando Goosen, 1 De Villiers Katze.<\/p>\n<p><strong>u19 Fixtures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, 15 March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Field: <\/strong><strong>16:00 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Hottentots Holland Ho\u00ebrskool vs Fairbairn;\u00a0<strong>17:10 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Strand vs Hamiltons;\u00a0<strong>20:30 &#8211;
