\"NoordSuidT20\"Is 2021 the year for the south to bag their first title in the annual North\/South T20 tournament<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

Since the inaugural tournament in 2018, no school from the south has managed to reach the final yet, but the teams from south of the Vaalriver have grown in T20 stature since the first tournament.<\/p>\n

Centurion<\/strong> is the defending champions after decrowning Menlopark<\/strong> back in 2019. No tournament was held in 2020 due to the enforced lockdown caused by the Coronavirus-pandemic. The defending champions defeated Menlopark by six wickets in the final.<\/p>\n

Menlopark<\/strong> was crowned the inaugural champions after beating Centurion in the final. Besides the two former champions, the north will also be represented by Waterkloof<\/strong>, Ho\u00ebrskool Nelspruit, Ho\u00ebrskool Rustenburg<\/strong>, Potchefstroom Volkskool, Marais Viljoen<\/strong> and St Andrew’s of Bloemfontein.<\/p>\n

The schools that will aim to break the south’s absence from the final are Grey College<\/strong>, Northwood, Westville Boys’ High<\/strong>, St. Andrew’s College, SACS<\/strong>, Grey High School, Rondebosch Boys’ High<\/strong>, and Wynberg Boys’ High.<\/p>\n
