The annual Jean de Villiers u16 Rugby Festival<\/strong> will once again be one of the highlights of the u16 schoolboy rugby calendar of 2024.<\/p>\n The festival is hosted by Paarl Gimnasium in Paarl and has been held since 1993. Most of the country’s top rugby schools’ u16 sides have been in attendance since the inaugural festival.<\/p>\n Catch all the action live on SuperSport Schools<\/strong><\/a> (www.supersportschools.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n One of the highlights annually was the match-up between the hosts and Grey College<\/strong> of Bloemfontein. This match won’t be part of the fixtures this year as these two schools will have their first interschools<\/p>\n Paarl Gimnasium will face Waterkloof<\/strong> of Pretoria in the main match of the opening day. The hosts will lock horns with the two Krugersdorp schools in attendance, Monument<\/strong> and Noordheuwel<\/strong>, in their two remaining matches.<\/p>\n The encounter with Monnas could be the highlight of the festival.
