Paarl Gim will face <strong>Rustenburg Girls&#8217;<\/strong>, and Woodridge takes on <strong>Middelburg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the remaining fixture will be contested by <strong>Outeniqua <\/strong>and <strong>Somerset College<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After recording a win and a draw in the first two matches of their title defence, against <strong>Belville High<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Kingswood College<\/strong>, Monument entered day two knowing they had to win at all costs.<\/p>\n<p>Coach <strong>Robin Franklin&#8217;<\/strong>s side kick-started their day in the best way possible, dominating proceedings to overpower Stellenbosch High 6-0. <strong>Keila Meyer<\/strong>, <strong>Danike Redpath<\/strong>, <strong>Lanali van der Merwe<\/strong>, <strong>Shawna Botha<\/strong>, and <strong>Hannah Smyth<\/strong>, with a brace, sealed the win for the Krugersdorp side.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the day, they defeated another Western Cape side, outscoring <strong>Wynberg Girls&#8217;<\/strong> 3-1. Smyth struck twice again, while <strong>Marseille Nel<\/strong> also got her name on the score sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Woodridge were accurate in front of the goal and that accuracy landed the Eastern Cape side a quarterfinal spot.<\/p>\n<p>They scored a total of eight goals on Thursday &#8211; four against both <strong>DF Malan<\/strong> and <strong>Pro-Ed Akademie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Against DF, it was<strong> Anna Kirsten<\/strong>, <strong>Jemma Maartens<\/strong>, <strong>Georgia Kilfoil<\/strong>, and <strong>Daniella Smith<\/strong> on the score sheet. Then, it was the turn of <strong>Reece Foreman<\/strong>, <strong>Emilee Tinderholm<\/strong>, and <strong>Dane Strydom<\/strong>, who\u00a0grabbed a pair, against Pro-Ed.<\/p>\n<p>The Paarl Gimnasium girls, just like their male counterparts, have appeared to be a cut above the rest during the festival, and Thursday was no different.<\/p>\n<p>They never got out of first gear but still beat <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Rustenburg<\/strong> 1-0. They followed that up with a 3-0 victory over <strong>Windhoek Gymnasium<\/strong> to finish atop Pool D.<\/p>\n<p>Among the fixtures on the third day of the festival will be <strong>Hudson Park<\/strong> against DF Malan in one of the Plate quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stirling High<\/strong> will contest the Shield quarterfinals, where they will take on Ho\u00ebrskool Rustenburg.
