Gqeberha’s Ho\u00ebrskool Framesby<\/strong> visits Worcester on Saturday for an enticing showdown with HTS Drostdy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Framesby played some very good rugby at the Kearsney Easter Festival<\/strong>, where they produced a frantic finish to edge out Drostdy’s neighbours, Worcester Gimnasium<\/strong>, 36-34, on the last day.<\/p>\n

They also beat the hosts, Kearsney College<\/strong>, 18-17, in their first match and gave Monument<\/strong> everything they could handle before going down 17-22.<\/p>\n

Framesby, however, faces a Drostdy side with their tails up. Last weekend, “the Donkeys” cruised to a convincing 46-10 victory over Hugenote and earlier in the year, at the NMI Toyota North-South Tournament<\/strong>, they beat Ho\u00ebrskool Nelspruit<\/strong> 34-27 but went down 15-44 to high-flying Dr EG Jansen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s battle between the two packs of forwards promises to produce fireworks, with neither side accustomed to taking a step back.<\/p>\n

Tertius Wantenaar<\/strong>, Daniel Mellet<\/strong> and Sandro Smit<\/strong> make up the Drostdy front row. They’ll be up against big Sean Vermaak, <\/strong>Ewald Labuschagne<\/strong>, and his namesake at hooker, Ewald Muller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After an impressive win against an in-form Worcester Gimnasium last weekend, Swartland<\/strong> will aim to use that encouraging victory as a springboard to success against the visiting side from Hermanus<\/strong> this weekend.<\/p>\n

Carlo van der Merwe<\/strong> starred at flyhalf in their win over Worcester, slotting four penalties and two crucial conversions, to see his side to a 26-24 victory.<\/p>\n

This weekend, though, Van der Merwe starts at inside centre while Iminathi Njozela<\/strong> wears the number 10 jersey.<\/p>\n

The visitors will look to the likes of Kyle Lewis<\/strong> and Giano da Kosta<\/strong> to help them contain the Swartland attack, while captain Reon Sparkham<\/strong> and his fellow forwards do battle for dominance up front.<\/p>\n
