{"id":43499,"date":"2024-04-30T15:22:11","date_gmt":"2024-04-30T13:22:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssschoolsplus.co.za\/?p=43499"},"modified":"2024-04-30T15:22:11","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T13:22:11","slug":"coach-lebo-modike-impressed-by-refilwe-fcs-performances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/?p=43499","title":{"rendered":"Club founder Lebo Ramodike impressed by Refilwe FC&#8217;s performances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-43525\" src=\"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/football-refilwe-fc-280424-333x500.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" \/>Following an exciting victory in week two, <strong>Refilwe FC<\/strong> added another two wins on Sunday, in week three of the u14 <strong>Gauteng Women&#8217;s Development League (GWDL)<\/strong>, scoring 12 times in those victories.<\/p>\n<p>In a tough first outing, they turned in a strong performance to defeat\u00a0<strong>Tornado FC<\/strong> 2-0, with <strong>Anastasia Freitas<\/strong> and <strong>Nthabiseng Mahlangu<\/strong> netting for Refilwe.<\/p>\n<p>In their second match, Refilwe astounded the onlookers by slotting 10 goals past <strong>Edenvale<\/strong> without reply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicole Ncube <\/strong>was outstanding, scoring four goals, while <strong>Nontokozo Zwane<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Azielle Mathane <\/strong>scored twice each.<strong> Owam Zihlangu<\/strong> and Anastasia Freitas completed the scoring in Refilwe&#8217;s electrifying victory.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/\"><strong>SuperSport Schools Plus<\/strong><\/a>, Refilwe&#8217;s founder <strong>Lebo Ramodike<\/strong> expressed his appreciation for, and congratulated the girls on, their exceptional performances.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The victories over the weekend were well deserved by the girls. They approached the games with our usual strategy, which involves applying high pressure when not in possession, with an emphasis on dominating possession and scoring goals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He said Refilwe&#8217;s opposition didn&#8217;t play to their strengths.
