Playing away from home, SuperSport United heads into the fixture on the back foot. However, they’re well capable of walking away from the contest with maximum points.<\/p>\n

SuperSport Schools’<\/strong> Ongama Gcwabe<\/em> looks at three players who could play a decisive role for the visitors.<\/p>\n

Michael Alagiozoglou<\/strong> (Forward)<\/strong>
\nWhen shortlisting the league’s most impressive forwards, particularly in the under-19 division, it is hard to look past Michael Alagiozoglou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He has a knack for taking up positions where his midfielders can locate him in attack, which goes a long way towards making him a successful striker.<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old has all the traits a regular goal scorer needs in his repertoire, including ball control, composure, big match temperament and deadly finishing abilities.<\/p>\n

This season, he has three goals to his name thus far, which has helped SuperSport United to sixth position on the log, with two games in hand.<\/p>\n

TS Galaxy has been a force to be reckoned with this season but, if there’s a player who could halt their momentum, it is United’s Alagiozoglou.<\/p>\n

Tumelo Machete (Forward)<\/strong>
\nAlongside Alagiozoglou, SuperSport features the young and dazzling Tumelo Machete<\/strong>. Last season, he was already a regular in the under-19 division, and that experience has been on show in his 2024 performances, which have demonstrated his acute reading of the game.<\/p>\n

He combines well in attack with Alagiozoglou while keeping in sync with the midfield and the back four, a trait that is rare to find in forwards.<\/p>\n

In front of goal, Machete is a good finisher, and he has struck twice for SuperSport in the league. He delivers a massive work rate and is often the one behind the creation of goal-scoring opportunities for the likes of Alagiozoglou.<\/p>\n

On average, TS Galaxy concede only one goal per game, but that number could be nudged up a touch with the likes of Machete challenging their defence.<\/p>\n

Kgoleng Ratisani\u2028 (Goalkeeper)<\/strong>
\nKgoleng Ratisani<\/strong>‘s performances between the sticks have stood out this season, and they’ve already brought him two clean sheets from six appearances.<\/p>\n

His excellence has played a key role in SuperSport United’s successful start to the season.<\/p>\n
