There have been lessons to learn this season, including in a big 6-0 win over Westering, and in a 0-4 defeat against Rhenish, who have proved themselves to be one of the best teams in the country in 2024.

Pearson took on York High on Friday afternoon, with the local girls fresh off of a 3-1 win over Woodridge College a week earlier.

Coach MJ Meyer‘s York side stuck one past Pearson, but the Gqeberha girls responded with four goals of their own to claim a comfortable 4-1 victory, with Zanike Coetzer, Isabella Costa Gamaleri, Hanna Potgieter, and Zoey Mostert getting their names onto the score sheet.

The following day, Pearson was made to work extremely hard for a 2-1 win over Outeniqua. This time around, it was Annemi De Villiers, and Nyssa Slabbert, who contributed goals to take their side to victory.

There’s no let-up for Pearson.
