Pretoria Boys’ High hosts Maritzburg College this time around and will be hoping to ride the home support to victory on Brooks Field.\u00a0 It has been a challenging season for the Candies<\/strong>, but they’ve hung tough while playing an extremely demanding schedule.<\/p>\n

Maritzburg College dominated the first meeting of the sides on Goldstone’s<\/a><\/strong>, winning the encounter 43-15.<\/p>\n

Last year, College won home and away against Boys High, including an emphatic and exciting 47-15 victory in Pretoria. Kick-off is at 13:20.<\/p>\n

Last weekend, the Red, Black and White lost a sensational match to Affies, going down 37-39<\/a><\/strong>. The Pietermaritzburg school came within 30 seconds of upsetting the Wit Bulle<\/strong>, but showed in that contest that when they’re on their game they can go toe-to-toe with anyone.<\/p>\n

College’s flyhalf James Slevin<\/strong>, has had a good season thus far and will want to continue with his good form, which included a 100 percent goal kicking record against Affies. In the Boys High camp, Seth Venter<\/strong> misses out and is replaced by Kwanda Mabuza<\/strong> in the number 10 jersey.<\/p>\n

A notable absentee from the College lineup is SA Schools’ tighthead Aiden Botha<\/strong>. He’s replaced by Alande Ngubane<\/strong> in the front row.<\/p>\n
