\"\"The Ho\u00ebrskool Pionier Sevens, proudly sponsored by Toyota<\/strong>, takes place over two days in Vryheid – on Friday, 16 August and Saturday, 17 August – bringing together 14 u17 teams and 12 u15 sides in the second round of the High School Sevens Series.<\/p>\n

Last weekend, at the opening round in Durban, Westville Boys’ High won the u17 title at the Glenwood Sevens, while Northwood took the u15 honours<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The hosts, Pionier, will be among the favourites to take the u17 honours in Vryheid, but they’ll likely be challenged by Marais Viljoen<\/strong>, Sarel Cilliers<\/strong>, Ferrum<\/strong> and Ho\u00ebrskool Vryheid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A dark horse to keep an eye on is Vryheid Landbou<\/strong>. They were in action at the Glenwood Sevens last week and, after a tough start against DHS<\/strong>, gave some highly regarded teams a tough time. In the end, they lifted the Shield.<\/p>\n
