The seven new faces are Boland Landbou<\/strong>, Rondebosch Boys’ High, SACS<\/strong>, Diamantveld, Nico Malan<\/strong>, Ho\u00ebrskool Rustenburg and Framesby<\/strong>. In total 30 of South Africa’s top rugby-playing schools will be in action during the tournament which is starting to cement its place as the leading school rugby festival in the country.<\/p>\n All schools’ second teams will also be in action during the tournament. In total 60 matches will be played in Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n Some of the biggest match-ups outside traditional rugby rivalries<\/strong> will happen this year at the Mark\u00f6tter.<\/p>\n Grey College will have a chance to avenge their defeat against Jeppe earlier this year during Noord\/Suid in Pretoria. It was Jeppe’s first-ever victory over Grey and was reckoned to be the biggest upset in over a century in schoolboy rugby.<\/p>\n Grey could also bury another ghost during this clash next year as they suffered their heaviest defeat ever at the Mark\u00f6tter Stadium last week against Paul Roos Gimnasium<\/strong> (3-36).<\/p>\n The hosts, Paul Roos Gimnasium<\/strong>, will face Garsfontein and Noordheuwel in their two matches. The Garsie Bere<\/strong> has been running with the big dogs for some time now, with Nories starting to bite at the heels of the big dogs.<\/p>\n Affies<\/strong> and Paarl Boys’ High<\/strong> will lock horns again in a clash that promises to be one of the tournament’s highlights. Paarl Gimnasium<\/strong>‘s clash on the Monday against Monument<\/strong>‘s Wit Bulle will also be a cracker. Seven new faces and a re-match between Grey College<\/strong> and Jeppe High School for Boys<\/strong> are on the table for the annual NMI Toyota Noord\/Suid rugby tournament<\/strong> that will take place from 28 March until 1 April 2025 in the Mark\u00f6tter Stadium in Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n
