Affies moved to second place on the latest rankings of School of Rugby after they defeated Grey College 37-31 for only the second time in history in Bloemfontein. It was Affies’ second succesive victory over Grey College and their fifth in total since 1953. It was the first time since 2006 (Paul Roos Gimnasiums 16-10) that Grey College was defeated in the City of Roses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outeniqua drop a spot to third place. The top placed team Paarl Gimnasium and Affies won’t face each other this season. Both teams are still unbeaten and only a slip-up from one of these teams will see them lose their current positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

HTS Middelburg was crowned champions of the NuPower\/Tuks Series with a victory over Nelspruit and moves to position six on the rankings. If they were invited to Wildeklawer SuperSchools they might have been placed higher at the moment. The Rooi Bulle defeated fifth placed EG Jansen earlier this season in a NuPower\/Tuks match.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
