They got off to a strong start by knocking off <strong>Hudson Park<\/strong> 18-4, with <strong>Anna Lieberman<\/strong> and <strong>Jemma Pearse<\/strong> scoring four goals each, while <strong>Nina Wades<\/strong> netted three times.<\/p>\n<p>Coach <strong>Alex Hawkins<\/strong>&#8216; side, also, brushed <strong>Collegiate<\/strong> aside, winning their second match 9-3. In their last outing of the day, they cruised to a 13-2 win over <strong>St Mary&#8217;s Waverly<\/strong> to complete an unbeaten run through the group stage of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Pool D, <strong>Roedean School<\/strong>, who fired in 41 goals in only two games on Thursday, were made to work a little harder on Friday, but they kept their winning record intact. Coach <strong>Siyabonga Guzana<\/strong>&#8216;s side overcame a gritty challenge from <strong>St Anne&#8217;s<\/strong>, winning 9-4, and they won their last pool game 11-4 over <strong>Stirling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Pool A, <strong>St Stithians College<\/strong> hit their straps, racking up 23 goals in two fixtures. In a 12-3 win over <strong>Woodridge College<\/strong>, <strong>Tori Tanner-Ellis<\/strong> struck five times, while <strong>Emily Carle<\/strong> came close to matching her, beating the &#8216;keeper on four occasions.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Waterpolo - Clarendon vs Rhenish - Brian Baker Festival - 24 January 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qz2P-gfSCrA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Pool A proved to be a tough challenge for <strong>St Dominic&#8217;s<\/strong> and <strong>Woodridge<\/strong>, with St Dom&#8217;s recording their only win thus far over Woodridge, who remain winless. The Eastern Cape side pushed <strong>Rhenish<\/strong> hard on Friday, but they came out on the wrong end of the result, falling 3-7 to the Stellenbosch girls.<\/p>\n<p>St Dominic&#8217;s, meanwhile, extended Clarendon but went down 4-6. They came even closer against Rhenish, losing by a solitary goal, 8-9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reddam House Constantia<\/strong>, coached by <strong>Connor Whiting<\/strong>, also boasted a 100 percent record after the completion of Pool B&#8217;s matches.
