The oldest rugby school in South Africa, Diocesan College or as it is better known as Bishops produced an upset be handing Paarl Gimnasium their first defeat of the season. Bishops won the match 35-32 at Piley Rees in Cape Town. <\/span><\/p>\n

Their fullback, Tristan Lleyds, scored a brace of tries in the victory. He is the younger brother of the Storrmers player, Dillon Lleyds. Paarl Gimnasium took the lead for the first time with only three minutes left in the match at 32-28 before the home side took the match. <\/span><\/p>\n

Paarl Boys’ High kept their unbeaten record by beating Outeniqua from George by 23-17 at Brugge Street in the Paarl. The home side build up a healthy lead of 18-3 before the Kwaggas produced a fight back.<\/span><\/p>\n
