The annual FNB Classic Clashes’ fixture list will produce like in the past some of the highlights of the 2016 schoolboy rugby season. The first FNB Classic Clash will be played in Johannesburg on 19 March with St. John’s College and Parktown Boys’ High locking horns. The clash between Grey College and Affies on 7 May will be one of the games of the season not to miss.<\/p>\n
Grey College also have a FNB Classic Clash against Paul Roos Gimnasium at the end of the season. The Classic Clash between Durban High School and Glenwood – also known as the Horseflies versus the Grasshoppers – will also be one of the highlights of the season. Durban High School is celebrating their 150th in 2016. <\/p>\n
One of the oldest schoolboy fixtures – Diocesan College (Bishops) and Rondebosch Boys’ High – will be one of the highlights on the Western Cape calendar. They first played each other in 1911. The match was a Premier Interschools clach in 2015, but was welcomed back to the FNB Classic Clashes for 2016 <\/p>\n
Another clash not to miss is the derby between Queen’s College and Dale College which will take place on 20 August. They played each other for the first time in 1891. <\/p>\n
