Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/visualphotographys\"><strong>Irwin Hackner (Visual Photography)<\/strong><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The final day of the <strong>Standard Bank St Stithians Hockey Festival<\/strong>, in Johannesburg, on Saturday, produced a whopping 33 goals across 10 matches as the teams wrapped up the action after three days of intense hockey.<\/p>\n<p>Of those 33, <strong>Reddam House Constantia<\/strong> scored 11, while the hosts netted three to finish their campaign on a high.<\/p>\n<p>It was a challenging festival for sides like <strong>Hilton College<\/strong>, <strong>Clifton College<\/strong>, <strong>Die Ho\u00ebrskool Menlopark<\/strong>, and <strong>St David&#8217;s Marist Inanda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While they struggled to get over the line, Reddam and <em><strong>Saints<\/strong><\/em> went about their business quietly and efficiently and racked up victories.<\/p>\n<p>After a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ssschoolsplus.co.za\/blatch-inspires-saints-to-victory-over-hilton\/\">sizzling performance on Wednesday<\/a><\/strong>, which brought them a thrilling victory over Hilton College, the hosts defeated <strong>Clifton College<\/strong> 3-1 on Thursday and ended the festival with a 3-2 win over <strong>St Andrew&#8217; College<\/strong>, another in-form team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aidan Blatch<\/strong> has been the name on everybody&#8217;s lips, and he duly delivered again against the Makhanda school. Lanky, unpredictable, and dangerous, he scored a brace before <strong>Jason Joiner<\/strong> netted to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Saints on the winning trail was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ssschoolsplus.co.za\/three-teams-maintain-unbeaten-runs-at-saints-fest\/\">Reddam<\/a><\/strong>, who recorded two emphatic victories.\u00a0Coach <strong>Alex Gitlin<\/strong>\u2019s side defeated <strong>St Benedict&#8217;s College<\/strong> 4-1 before overrunning the <strong>St Stithians College Festival Team<\/strong> 7-0.<\/p>\n<p>Against <em><strong>Bennies<\/strong><\/em>, <strong>Charlie Naylor<\/strong> was on fire and bagged a pair before<strong> Kyle Jones<\/strong> and <strong>Chris Stewart<\/strong> got in on the scoring action.<\/p>\n<p>Captain <strong>Joe Gitlin<\/strong>, Naylor, and Jones were on the scoreboard again in the match against the Saints Festival team, while <strong>Reese Hayes<\/strong> and <strong>Mitchell Welch<\/strong> completed the drubbing.<\/p>\n<p>It was another superb showing from the Cape Town outfit, who picked up from where they left off at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ssschoolsplus.co.za\/three-teams-unbeaten-while-bishops-bounces-back-at-ishf\/\">Independent Schools Hockey Festival<\/a><\/strong> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>St Andrew&#8217;s College was probably the third-best team at the festival and suffered only that one loss against the hosts.<\/p>\n<p>Coach<strong> Dean Ferreira&#8217;<\/strong>s troops played exciting hockey throughout the weekend and on Saturday picked up a 3-0 win over St David&#8217;s Marist Inanda.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70402\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70402\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-70402 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/ssschoolsplus.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Reddam-House-at-Saints-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Reddam House Constantia continued thier impressive start to the 2025 season at the Saints Festival. \" width=\"400\" height=\"320\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70402\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">1st Team Boys Hockey match between Pretoria Boys High and Reddam House Constantia at St Stithians Easter festival.
