For the <em><strong>Knights<\/strong><\/em>, hooker <strong>Ayavuya Makula<\/strong> made an early statement, marshalling a dominant rolling maul that led to one of his team&#8217;s two tries. The other came courtesy of fullback <strong>Trevor van Vollenstee<\/strong>, who crossed the line early in the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1500\">Thankfully for the spectators, the eagerly anticipated curtain-raiser between <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Noordheuwel<\/strong> (the <em><strong>Blues<\/strong><\/em>) and <strong>Jeppe High School for Boys<\/strong> delivered a dramatic contest. After an intense 60 minutes, the men from Krugersdorp celebrated their first win of the 2025 season, claiming a hard-fought 21-20 victory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1814\">Jeppe started like a house on fire, racing into a 17-0 lead in the blink of an eye, through tries from loosehead, <strong>Joshua Hamman<\/strong>, and inside centre, <strong>Phano Letsie<\/strong>.
