\"NewsGNewOrleans\"The stadium in faure street paarl was packed last weekend and will be again this weekend.Last weekend Paarl Boys’ High played Paarl Gimnasium. This weekend two other Paarl schools, enthusiastic about their rugby, New Orleans and Klein Nederburg.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Added to the great excitement in Paarl at the match is Klein Nederburg celebration of the school’s 40th birthday.<\/span><\/p>\n

It will be a great day of fun and earnest endeavour.<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems that the weather will be favourable after Friday’s rain – partly cloudy, no rain, a high of 15°C and a low of 3°C<\/span><\/p>\n

Season So Far<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

New Orleans have had much the better season. They have won five of their six matches, while Klein Nederburg have won three of their seven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stellenbosch:<\/strong> New Orleans won 18-12; Klein Nederburg lost 32-3<\/span>

Both schools’ players are eligible for Boland teams at Craven Week and the Academy Week. The only player to be selected was Shakier Moerat of New Orleans, who was chosen for the Academy Week side. Moerat is a great rugby name in Paarl and further afield.<\/span><\/p>\n
