\"PaarlGim7s\"Van die land se voorste o.15-rugbyspelers sal Saterdag op Paarl Gimnasium se velde in die Marius Schoeman Sewes-toernooi in aksie wees. Spanne van die tradisionele rugbykragte op skolevlak van regoor Suid-Afrika soos Grey-kollege van Bloemfontein, Glenwood van Durban, Paarl Boishaai, Stellenberg, Boland Landbou, HTS Drostdy en Outeniqua sal almal saam met die gasheer aan die o.15-afdeling van die toernooi deelneem. <\/span><\/p>\n

Die voormalige Blitsbok, Schoeman, wat aan stuur van SA Rugby se Sewesakademie staan is ‘n oud-leerling van Paarl Gimnasium. Grey College het sedert Suid-Afrika vir die eerste keer in 1993 aan ‘n sewestoernooi deelgeneem het, tot dusver die meeste Blitsbokke opgelewer. Spelers soos Philip Snyman, Chris Dry, Robert Ebersohn, Joe Pietersen, Gerrie Britz, Heinrich Brüssow, Andries Strauss, JW Jonker, Boom Prinsloo, Kevin Luiter, Ruwellyn Isbell en Ruben Kruger is maar net ‘n paar spelers van Grey wat oor die jare vir die Blitsbokke uitgedraf het.<\/span><\/p>\n
