Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/web.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100091765516893&amp;_rdc=1&amp;_rdr#\"><strong>Reflection in Photography<\/strong><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After two dominating victories on the opening day of the <strong>Guschkie Top Schools Hockey Tournament<\/strong>, at <strong>Grey College<\/strong>, in Bloemfontein, <strong>Paarl Gimnasium<\/strong> showed no signs of slowing down on Friday, and they finished the day having maintained their sparkling, clean record.<\/p>\n<p>Day one brought Gim 15 goals and two conceded. On day two, they kept two clean sheets while adding another eight goals to their tally.<\/p>\n<p>In their first outing of the day, they cruised to a 4-0 win over <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Eldoraigne<\/strong>. Later, they repeated that score in a victory over <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Jim Fouch\u00e9 (JF)<\/strong>, which left them firmly in control of Pool B.<\/p>\n<p>In Pool A, <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Garsfontein<\/strong> brought <strong>Grey College<\/strong>\u2019s perfect start to a halt, holding them to a 1-1 draw. Then, in a Bloemfontein derby, Grey edged out <strong>St Andrew\u2019s School<\/strong>, scoring a tight 2-1 victory.<\/p>\n<p>The first chukka was goalless, but <em><strong>Saints<\/strong><\/em> broke the deadlock in the second from a penalty corner. Grey replied with a well-taken field goal in the third chukka and added another in the fourth to add another win to their record.<\/p>\n<p>After their draw with Grey, Garsfontein stayed in contention with a 2-0 defeat of <strong>Ho\u00ebrskool DF Malan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The day\u2019s action began with Saints and <strong>Worcester Gimnasium<\/strong> sharing a goalless draw.
