Photo: Supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After three days of high-flying action at <strong>The King&#8217;s School Linbro Park Basketball Tournament<\/strong>, the u13 and u18 titles were decided, with the <strong>Elite Sporting and Cultural Academy<\/strong> (<strong>ESCA) Wanderers<\/strong> claiming gold in the u18 boys&#8217; division on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>They dominated <strong>St Benedict&#8217;s College<\/strong> in the final, storming their way to a convincing 41-26 victory.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, in the semifinals, ESCA outplayed the hosts, King&#8217;s Linbro, 35-19, while <em><strong>Bennies <\/strong><\/em>eked out a thrilling 44-43 win over <strong>King Edward VII School (KES) <\/strong>after a tense and frantic contest.<\/p>\n<p>Those defeats left King&#8217;s Linbro and KES to battle it out for the bronze, and it was the hosts who came away with the medals after securing a hard-fought 28-24 win.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls&#8217; division, <strong>Saheti School<\/strong> finished the tournament with a decisive 29-6 win over <span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><strong>HeronBridge College <\/strong>in the final<\/span>. Photo: Supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>King&#8217;s Linbro picked up another bronze medal, holding off <strong>Reddam House Helderfontein <\/strong>21-17 in their playoff game.<\/p>\n<p>Victory in the boys&#8217; u13 division went the way of Saheti, who turned on the style to power their way to a 28-8 win over the <strong>American International School of Johannesburg (AISJ)<\/strong> in the final.<\/p>\n<p>Saheti had cruised into the title decider after defeating <strong>Redhill School<\/strong> 39-14 in the semifinals.
