Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/paarlboyshighschool?igsh=MWFubnRoYmNycThoMA==\"><strong>Paarl Boys&#8217; High on Instagram.<\/strong><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Paul Roos Gimnasium vs Paarl Gimnasium (20-over)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a second round <strong>Switch Schools SA20 &#8211; Volume Two<\/strong> match on Wednesday, <strong>Paul Roos Gimnasium<\/strong> <strong>(PRG)<\/strong> won the toss at home and chose to field first against the visitors, <strong>Paarl Gimnasium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Gimmies<\/em> <\/strong>did a solid job with the bat and an even better one in the field to win the game by 31 runs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt Dippenaar<\/strong>, their number three batsman, led the charge for the visitors, smashing eight fours and three sixes in a decisive 80 runs off only 52 balls.<\/p>\n<p>The best of the Paul Roos bowlers were <strong>Dion Slabber<\/strong> and <strong>Morn\u00e9 Pauw<\/strong>, who picked up 2\/25 and 2\/26 respectively from their four overs.<\/p>\n<p>After 20 overs, Paarl Gim had posted 142\/7 &#8211; a good score, but not an unassailable total.<\/p>\n<p>Faced with a required run rate of over seven per over, PRG opener <strong>Aiden Titus<\/strong> gave the home side a quick start, striking three fours and a six in a hasty 22 off 14 balls.<\/p>\n<p>However, after his dismissal, the <strong>Stellenbosch <\/strong>school&#8217;s batsmen struggled to continue his good work. <strong>Marcus Conradie<\/strong>, batting fifth,\u00a0came the closest, tallying 19 off 22.<\/p>\n<p>Gimmies bowled tightly and kept the scoring rate down, with <strong>Derrick Groenewald<\/strong> and <strong>Kieran Daniels<\/strong>, who claimed two wickets each, leading the way.<\/p>\n<p>They were also outstanding in the field, engineering three run outs as Paul Roos was all out on a Nelson, 111.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paarl Boy&#8217;s High vs Boland Landbou (20-over)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Paarl Boys&#8217; High, <strong>Boland Landbou<\/strong> won the toss selected to field first against the home team. It proved to be a tough day all-round for <em><strong>the Farmers<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Paarl Boys&#8217; High<\/strong> batsmen were excellent, while their bowlers also delivered the goods, leading to a dominant 109-run victory for the hosts.<\/p>\n<p>Opener <strong>AB Jacobs<\/strong> was talismanic for <em><strong>Boishaai<\/strong><\/em>, thumping a sensational 117 runs off 63 balls, which included 20 boundaries.
