Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tap.light.edits\/\"><strong>Tap Light Edits<\/strong><\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>North West<\/strong> will head to Bloemfontein for the <strong>Khaya Majola Week<\/strong>, which kicks off on 16 December in the City of Roses, not only with a new outlook but also with an almost entirely new team and management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duan\u00e9 Bredenkamp<\/strong> is the new head coach of the squad, which features only one returning player, all-rounder <strong>Caiden Seleka<\/strong>, who is the younger brother of <strong>North West Dragons<\/strong>&#8216; leg-spinner, <strong>Caleb Seleka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Seleka is joined in the squad by four of his <strong>Potchefstroom Gimnasium<\/strong> counterparts, which makes <em><strong>Gimmies<\/strong><\/em> the school with the most representatives in the provincial line-up.<\/p>\n<p>That achievement should come as no surprise because Potch Gim dominated both the North West 50-over and <strong>Switch Schools SA20<\/strong> <strong>&#8211; Volume Two<\/strong> competitions, winning both.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Seleka, <strong>Christivan Coetzer<\/strong> would&#8217;ve most likely been one the first names written down on the selectors&#8217; team sheets. He&#8217;s enjoyed a dream year and his appearance at the Khaya Majola Week is likely to be the first of two years in the North West u19 side because he is in Grade 11.<\/p>\n<p>Coetzer has put together a spectacular year, accumulating seven centuries, which includes a 150 in a Schools SA20 outing. Those achievements make him a player to watch in Bloemfontein.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Henr\u00e9 Cronje<\/strong>, <strong>Tlhoni Thabatha<\/strong>, who is also a gifted rugby player, and <strong>Jahndr\u00e9 Coetzee<\/strong> are the other Gimmies&#8217; players in the squad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Potchefstroom Volkskool<\/strong> owns the second-most players in the 14-player line-up. The talented <strong>Louis van Wyk<\/strong>, also the <em><strong>Volkies<\/strong><\/em>&#8216; captain, cracked the nod, along with <strong>Temba Sontjane<\/strong> and the promising spin bowler, <strong>Olefa Padi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Olebogang Scott<\/strong>, from the Ikageng Hub, which borders Potchefstroom, is the ninth player from the North West city to be selected<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Rustenburg<\/strong> stalwart, <strong>Callie Fryer<\/strong>, cracked the nod, too. He&#8217;s an exciting prospect, who, at just 16 years of age, represented SA u19 against England at the beginning of the year. His <strong><em>Rusties<\/em>&#8216; <\/strong>teammate, <strong>Marnus de Witt<\/strong>, joins Fryer in the side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ho\u00ebrskool Wesvalia<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Eduard Dreyer<\/strong> follows in his older brother, <strong>Marneau Dreyer<\/strong>&#8216;s footsteps. It&#8217;s been a fantastic 2025 for the younger Dreyer, who also represented the province at the <strong>Craven Week<\/strong> in Middelburg during the July holidays.<\/p>\n<p>While Dreyer is the sole representative from his side, <strong>Ophile Rangwaga<\/strong>, from the <strong>Impala Hub<\/strong>, and <strong>Prince Marumagae,<\/strong> from the <strong>Matlosana Hub<\/strong>, are also the lone players selected from their teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pablo Molebatsi<\/strong>, Rangwaga&#8217;s teammate at Ikageng, is part of a three-man non-travelling reserve list.
