\"StJohnsEasterFest2019\"There is a couple of new faces at this year’s St John’s College Easter Festival<\/strong> in Johannesburg.  <\/p>\n

For the 24th edition of the Easter Festival, St John’s College<\/strong> decided to invite an extra two teams. Since 1996 there were always 12 school teams in attendance, but this year there will be 14 teams in action from 18 to 22 April on the Burger Field. <\/p>\n

Stellenberg<\/strong> of Durbanville and Graeme College<\/strong> of Grahamstown will make their first-ever appearance at the festival. Their first match against Helpmekaar<\/strong> promises to be one of the highlights of the Easter Festival. They will also face Nelspruit and the Golden Lions XV<\/strong> in the City of Gold. <\/p>\n

Paarl Boys’ High<\/strong> is also back in the line-up after an absence of one year. Boishaai celebrated their 150th-anniversary last year with the World Schools Festival<\/strong> in Paarl. Before that, they were ever-present at the St John’s College Easter Festival. <\/p>\n

Noordheuwel<\/strong> of Krugersdorp is also making a comeback after their last appearance in 2014. They will face St John’s College, a Combined Schools XV and St Charles College in their three matches.<\/p>\n

St Charles College<\/strong> is also making a comeback after attending the Easter Festival back in 2016 for the last time. <\/p>\n
