\"SAu19Championship\"Western Province will face the defending champions, the Sharks, on Saturday at 15:30 at Paarl Gimnasium in a match which will determine who will represent the southern region in the SA Rugby u19 Championship<\/strong> final. Both teams’ unbeaten record for this year’s competition in still intact.<\/p>\n

Western Province had too much firepower for Eastern Province beating them by 71-12 during the second match-day of the newly structured competition. WP’s flyhalf, Feghon-Leigh Snyders, contributed 17 points to his side’s victory via a try and six conversions.<\/p>\n

Lock Juan Beukes scored two of Western Province’s 11 tries. The hosts thrashed Boland by 64-10 in their opening match of the competition.<\/p>\n

The Sharks also demolished Boland to book a date with Western Province. The team from KwaZulu-Natal came out on top by 73-7 in their second match of the competition in Paarl.<\/p>\n

Thabisho Mdletshe (prop), Connor Simpson (eighthman) and Kobus Hattingh (scrumhalf) all crossing the white-wash twice as the Sharks ran in eleven tries.<\/p>\n
