{"id":929,"date":"2023-04-21T08:14:15","date_gmt":"2023-04-21T06:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/football.supersportschools.com\/?p=929"},"modified":"2023-04-21T08:14:15","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T06:14:15","slug":"recap-of-the-kzn-high-schools-football-association-first-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/?p=929","title":{"rendered":"Recap of the KZN High Schools Football Association first round"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-890\" src=\"https:\/\/test.ssschoolsplus.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Football-South-Africa-400x210.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"210\" \/>Chiltern Park Sports Club and Alex Sports ground hosted the first games of the KZN Schools Football Association seco<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> term League. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, the season looks exciting and very promising that there is still a lot to come.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Six goals scored on the first and eight goals on the second day making it a total of 14 goals scored so far in the first round for the new season. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The crazy part is that round one of the first fixtures is not even done yet as the next games will be taking place on the 26<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of April both for Coastal and Inland games.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday Results; 19\/0424 (Coastal)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">u19 Westville Boys\u2019 High School played against Kloof High School in an evenly matched game that ended in a 2-all draw. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the same day, this game was followed by Durban High School when they took a comfortable win taking all three points against Hillcrest who saw defeat on the opening day of the new season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday Results: 20\/04\/23 (Inland)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the league season, Alexandra High School took full home advantage against the Maritzburg College \u2018B\u2019 who had a tough day at the office as they lost by 3 goals to nil to the home side.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the other game, Haythorne defeated St Nicholas Diocesan by 4 goals to 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chiltern Park Sports Club and Alex Sports ground hosted the first games of the KZN Schools Football Association second term League.
