The stage is set for the Bayhill Premier Cup (BPC)<\/strong> final on Monday, where Mamelodi Sundowns<\/strong> will face Antalyaspor<\/strong> for the title.<\/p>\n

Erica Park,<\/strong> in Belhar, hosted the opening and group games, followed by a series of knockout matches. Historically, the Athlone Stadium, in Cape Town, has been the site for the final and closing ceremony of the BPC.<\/p>\n

In 2024, when Cape Town Spurs defeated FN Rangers 4-1 in the final,<\/strong><\/a> a record crowd of 9 800 spectators was in attendance, highlighting the event’s status as one of the most cherished and followed youth competitions in the nation.<\/p>\n

2024 winners, Spurs, will be in action in the Pat Connolly Mid Section <\/strong>on Monday against Randburg, who narrowly missed out on the title in 2025, losing 0-2 to Ubuntu Football Academy in the final, where Henry Ihebe<\/strong> netted both goals to secure the championship for Ubuntu.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Spurs edged out Stars of Africa Academy <\/strong>1-0, while Randburg displayed a more aggressive approach, winning 3-0 against Eagle Performance Academy (EPA).<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Plate section semifinals, Rygersdal<\/strong> secured a 1-0 win over the Virginia Sports Academy<\/strong>, while Hout Bay<\/strong> advanced 3-0 from the penalty spot after playing to a goalless draw with Stanturf United.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s Mamelodi Sundowns versus Antalyaspor for the Cup. Although Bafana Ba Style<\/strong><\/em> will be favoured by most to go all the way, due to their pedigree and reputation, they will face a highly motivated Antalyaspor, who have risen to the challenge time after time to book their place in the title game.<\/p>\n

In the semifinals, Antalyaspor eliminated Stellenbosch<\/strong> 5-4 on penalties after a challenging 1-1 draw in regulation time. Sundowns won decisively against Everton, advancing with a 3-0 victory.<\/p>\n

The final kicks off at 15:00 at the Athlone Stadium.<\/p>\n
