Flanker Chris Cloete<\/strong> (Selborne College) was in the starting line-up for Munster, while Springbok centre Damian de Allende<\/strong> (Milnerton) made an appearance from the bench. <\/span><\/p>\n

Benneton<\/strong> had three South Africans in their squad that came within seconds of causing an upset. Irn\u00e9 Herbst<\/strong> (Waterkloof), Corniel Els<\/strong> (Grey College), and Eli Snyman<\/strong> (St John’s College) all playing for the Italians. Els made his debut for Benneton from the bench in the match. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Scarlets from Wales were taught a lesson by Leinster, who are sitting on top of Conference A of the competition. Leinster winning the clash by 52-25 scoring <\/span><\/p>\n

South African Uzair Cassiem<\/strong> (Strand) set-up the losing side’s first try by Dane Blacker after a run of about 35 metres. It was the former Cheetahs’ player’s 50th appearance for the Scarlets. Werner Kruger<\/strong> (Kempton Park) made an appearance from the bench for the Scarlets. <\/span><\/p>\n
