Eleven weeks in, and Sundowns still tops the GWDL

    soccer goal

The Gauteng Women’s Development League (GWDL) witnessed a high-scoring weekend, with Mamelodi Sundowns, once again, leading the way.

On Sunday, a week after the Brazilians stuck 10 past Highlands Park, they tallied double figures once more, although their victims on this occasion, Edenvale FC, managed a goal in response as ‘Downs cruised to a 10-1 victory.

Only 10 games into the season, Sundowns has already netted 70 times while conceding just 12 goals. They have suffered a defeat, though, going down to SAFA Academy earlier in the season.

SAFA Academy is tied with Sundowns on 27 points. Not surprisingly, though, given their goal-scoring rate of seven per game, Sundowns tops the league table on goal difference.

On Sunday, SAFA Academy faced a stern challenge from JVW, but they came through it with flying colours, recording a 2-0 victory.

After a disappointing 0-0 draw with Edenvale FC the previous weekend, Panorama FC returned to winning form against the struggling Sporting CP, picking up a 2-0 win.

Another team that needed to regroup on Sunday was Highlands Park, off the back of the hammering they had endured at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns. They found Kempton Park FC far more to their liking and secured three points after a 5-2 victory.

Refilwe FC and the University of Pretoria (Tuks) more than lived up to the promise of an exciting Pretoria derby, producing nine goals between them, with Refilwe FC sneaking a 5-4 win after an entertaining clash.

At President Park Stadium, in Vereeniging, Remember Elite Sport Academy (RESA), playing on their home ground, bagged a comfortable 4-0 win over Tornado Academy Ladies.

    RESULTS

    RESA 4-0 Tornado Academy Ladies
    Refilwe FC 5-4 Tuks
    Panorama FC 2-0 Sporting CP
    Mamelodi Sundowns 10-1 Edenvale FC
Highlands Park 5-2 Kempton Park FC
    SAFA Academy 2-0 JVW

What surprises await on the final day of the KZN football leagues?

Hillcrest High has put together a season to remember and are second in the standings with a game to play. They have their eyes set on a place in the Coastal A-League final. Photo: Supplied

After six weeks of action, the Mancosa KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA) Coastal and Inland Second-Term Leagues have reached their final round of round-robin matches.

Games are scheduled at Queensburgh High School, Barns Field (Maritzburg College), and Alexandra High School on Tuesday.

    Coastal A-League

There’s everything to play for the in Coastal A-League, with the top four teams – Westville Boys’ High School, Hillcrest High, Glenwood High and Port Shepstone – set to meet one another at Queensburgh High School. The winners will secure a place in the final. Of course, any draws would alter that simple permutation.

The 2024/25 football season has been characterised by underdog stories and fairytales, exemplified by Tottenham Hotspur. They finished a lowly 17th in the English Premier League, but they also won their first title in 17 years, lifting the Europa League in May. Additionally, Newcastle United ended a 70-year major trophy drought by winning the Carabao Cup.

Closer to home, Pyramids FC, which was founded in 2008, defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2 on aggregate score on Sunday, following a 2-1 victory over Sundowns at the 30 June Stadium, to win the CAF Champions League title, Africa’s most prestigious club competition.

In the Mancosa KZNHSFA Coastal A-League, there exists an underdog aiming to pulling off an extraordinary feat. Hillcrest High entered the 2025 football season with great enthusiasm, under the guidance of coach Cayle Marillier and Head of Football at Hillcrest High, Nsindiso Majola. They’ve made their mark.

The technical team at Hillcrest High has been working diligently to reverse previous misfortunes and now they have an opportunity to turn the improbable into reality. They’ll be up against Port Shepstone High on Tuesday, aiming to become the first team from Hillcrest High to qualify for the Coastal A-League final.

Ahead of Tuesday’s matches, Hillcrest High lies second on the log, with 15 points, tied with Glenwood High, who are in third place. Port Shepstone, in fourth, has 12 points. The goal difference between the teams in second, third, and fourth is minimal, so anything is possible.

Westville, in first place with 16 points, is set to face Glenwood. They previously met in the 2024 final, with Glenwood claiming the win. Two years earlier, when they met for the title, Westville was victorious.

Should Glenwood win and make it through to the final, they’ll have an opportunity to hoist the title for a third season in succession.

    Inland A-League

In the Inland A-League, both Maritzburg College and Carter High School will play in their final round-robin games free from any pressure. They’ve already secured their spots in the Inland A-League final, which will be played at College’s Barns Field.

On Tuesday, the Red, Black, and White takes on Haythorne Secondary, who are bottom of the Inland A-League standings. Haythorne is in urgent need of a victory. If they don’t win, they face the prospect of relegation to the Inland B-League.

A win over College would secure three points for Haythorne, which would take their season’s tally to five points. They would also have to hope that Newton, who have four points, goes downs to Edendale Tech High School at Barns Field.

Alexandra High School hosts the finalists and defending champions, Carter High, while, in another game at Alex, Ixopo Secondary takes on Linpark.

With the mid-year exams looming, football action around the country is winding down, with several schools in the Eastern Cape, Free State, and Gauteng having played their last matches for the first half of the season.

Siya Pongco rounds up recent action in the East London High Schools Football League, the Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League, the Mangaung Schools Football League, as well as various derbies and friendly matches.

B-Block BWFLA High Schools Soccer League (East London)

The fixtures for the East London High Schools Soccer League will be put on hold during the forthcoming examination period, which meant that only match was played last week, with Dale College claiming a victory after a series of defeats.

Dale headed into their clash with Westbank High in mid-table, below their usual lofty status, but they pulled off a hard-fought and morale-boosting 2-1 win.

    Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League

On Friday, in the Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League, Virginia High School and Harmony High School, in circuit nine, produced exceptional performances, but Reatlehile Secondary School, unfortunately, failed to appear for their match against St Anne’s Technical High.

Virginia High, who went into their match in second place in the standings, one point behind St Anne’s, powered their way to a resounding 6-1 victory over Meloding Secondary School. St Anne’s, meanwhile, was awarded a 2-0 walkover win over Reatlehile, which kept them ahead of the Absa Wildeklawer champion.

In a second meeting between the teams, Harmony High defeated Marematlou Secondary School 2-0.

    Mangaung Schools Football League

In the Free State’s Mangaung Schools Football League, there was limited activity on Friday, but some teams were able to catch up on fixtures that had been scheduled for earlier in the season.

Petunia Secondary School rolled to a 4-2 win over Kagisho Secondary School, while HTS Louis Botha recorded a 2-0 win over Sand du Plessis.

In a high-scoring contest, Kyrios Independent School picked up a 5-3 victory over Bainsvlei Combined School.

On Saturday, Grey College welcomed East London’s Selborne College for matches in squash, rugby, hockey, and football.

On the football field, Grey decisively defeated Selborne 4-1.

Renowned in South African schools’ football, Grey College showcased their exceptional skills to continue a strong season which has seen them excel in the Mangaung Schools Football League and secure a place in the final 16 of the Curro Halala Cup.

Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Grey College had the honour of hosting the Bafana Bafana technical team, including the national team coach Hugo Broos, which surely provided Grey with a good boost ahead of their showdown with Selborne.

On Saturday, Maritzburg College, celebrating the school’s Reunion Weekend, faced the challenge of an Old Boys’ team. In an evenly contested clash, seven goals were scored, with College, led by goalkeeper CJ Sukraj, sneaking a 4-3 victory.

The Red, Black, and White, have already booked their place in the final of the Mancosa KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA) Inland A-League, but before that they have one last round-robin match to play against Haythorne Secondary, at Barns Field, on Tuesday.

  • Coach Sanele Ngcobo happy with ML Sultan’s unbeaten streak

Coach Sanele Ngcobo happy with ML Sultan’s unbeaten streak

    ML Sultan. Photo. Supplied

ML Sultan stands as the lone team boasting a flawless 100 percent win record in the Coastal and Inland Leagues of the Mancosa KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA) Second-Term League.

They’ve played six matches and won each one of them, all but one of them convincingly.

On Thursday, ML Sultan cruised to a 5-0 win over Thornhill. thereby securing a place in the final of the Inland B-League, with one game remaining in the regular phase of the season.

On Friday, Sanele Ngcobo, the first-team coach at ML Sultan, told SuperSport Schools Plus he was satisfied with his team’s achievement of reaching the title decider. He was especially pleased, though, with the kind of football they have played along the way.

“Last year [2024], it was our first time participating in the Inland B-League, and we learned a lot about the league. This year, we came up with a plan of treating each game as a final game where we must get maximum points,” he said.

That strategy has borne fruit. ML Sultan sports a perfect record, and the team appears to be more focused than ever.

“We’re working hard with the boys, even though we have a lot of challenges, such as a ground. We don’t have a full-size soccer ground here at ML Sultan. It’s a seven-aside ground, but our boys, they give more than what we asked for in the game,” Ngcobo explained.

Ngcobo said his team’s goal, unsurprisingly, it to participate in the Inland A-League. However, achieving that goal is not a straightforward challenge. Recently, they were pushed all the way by Maritzburg College B, scoring a narrow 3-2 win to secure all three points on offer.

Ngcobo acknowledged that the game with Maritzburg College B was the toughest his side had faced thus far this season. Next Thursday, though, ML Sultan faces another formidable opponent in Northbury Park.

“We want three points from our last game against Northbury. It will be a challenging game, but we’re looking for a win,” Ngcobo said.

Madlala Thabiso has been on fire this season in the Inland B-League, scoring many goals and contributing to ML Sultan unbeaten streak. He scored a brace against Thornhill on Thursday, 29 May, in a 5-0 win over Thornhill. Photo. Supplied.

It’s a crucial match for Northbury Park. They have their sights set on second place and, with that, a place in the title game.

Maritzburg College B is poised to pounce should ML Sultan defeat Northbury Park. College B is in fourth place, with 10 points, trailing Riverwood, in third, by a single point, but Riverwood has played its last game already.

The Red, Black, and White takes on Thornhill, who lie sixth in the standings. ML Sultan is assured of a place in the final, but their opponent in far from decided.

While others chase an opportunity to play for the title, ML Sultan will be working hard to maintain a clean record.

Ngcobo stated that his team has gained significant knowledge and valuable experience from their participation in the KZNHSFA, and he considers the league to be a blessing for his players.

“We have talented players such as Aphelele Mkhize, our captain, Thabiso Madlala, Sipho Mkhwanazi, Sisanda Molefe, Olwethu Mkhize and Vuyani Mkhize who broke his leg against the Maritzburg College B Team. They give us more than 100 percent and I think one day some of them they will make it to the professional level,” Ngcobo told SuperSport Schools Plus.

Reflecting on his team’s season, Ngcobo said he believes they have achieved the objectives they established at the start of the season.

“We are through to the final while we still have a game before final,” he said. “I’m very happy we will play the final, but our aim is to play in the Inland A-league next year.

“The sad part is that I have seven boys who are doing grade 12 this year, and they won’t be there if we make it to the A-league,” he concluded.

In other matches played on Thursday in the Inland B-League, Maritzburg College B defeated Alexandra High B 3-0, Maritzburg Christian School secured a 2-0 victory over Heritage Academy, and Northbury Park escaped with a close 2-1 win over Riverwood.

Absa Wildeklawer champions, Virginia High School, delivered a standout performance in the Magnificent Wednesday Schools League, but they still find themselves one point behind St Anne’s Technical High School in the standings of circuit nine.

While the other circuits have not yet started their seasons, circuit nine is running smoothly, with five rounds of action in the book.

On Wednesday afternoon, the matches in the Lejweleputswa region of Virginia, in the Free State, were characterised by a flurry of goals.

Virginia High overwhelmed Mamello Secondary School, powering their way to a 10-0 win.

Lebohang Mobe was exceptional, netting five times, while Thato Kraal struck twice. Oageng Lebesane, Mpho Nhlokoe, and Boikanyo Moloi completed the scoring.

St Anne’s, after a 1-0 win over Virginia High last Friday, continued their winnings ways with a 4-1 win over Marematlou Secondary School.

Although Marematlou took the lead with a goal from Mpho Steward, St Anne’s quickly retaliated with a fierce counterattack and went on to a comfortable victory.

Makume Molemela, Keorapetse Nyathi, Thabang, and the side’s youngest player, 15-year-old Thabiso Sejentu, each contributed a goal to St Anne’s success.

Harmony High School also bagged three points, but only because of the absence of Reatlehile Secondary School.

Queensburgh High School’s 1st XI is all smiles after a 2-0 win over Redwood College secured a place in the Coastal B-League final for the boys in green. Photo. Queensburgh High School on Facebook.

Queensburgh High School has qualified for the Mancosa KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA) Coastal B-League final with one game remaining.

They remain unbeaten after a 2-0 win over Redwood College on Wednesday.

On Thursday, 5 June, they will face New Forest High in their final match of the regular season before playing for the B-League title and promotion to the Coastal A-League in 2026.

Queensburgh has played six matches thus far, won five of them, and drawn the other. With one game to go, they’re top of the table on 16 points. Another win would lift them to 19 out of a possible 21.

The battle to face Queensburgh in the final has not yet been resolved. It’s very tight. Sastri College has 11 points. So, too, does Durban High School (DHS), and Grosvenor Boys’ High is lurking, ready to pounce and take advantage of any slips. They have 10 points.

Sastri College’s quest for second place was interrupted by fifth-placed New Forest in a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Next week, they face DHS. Should either of the teams win, they’ll be through to the title game. Should they draw, Grosvenor could sneak into the final. DHS was in dominant form on Wednesday, outplaying Amanzimtoti 3-0.

Grosvenor’s task in the last round of matches will be to beat Redwood College. Any result besides a win means their hopes of a shot at the title will be over.

The team from the Bluff showed they meant business on Wednesday, firing six goals past Ashton Ballito A in a 6-2 victory.  Ashton, though, is bottom of the table, so Grosvenor will expect a tougher game from Redwood.

    RESULTS

    Grosvenor 6-2 Ashton Ballito A
    Durban High School 3-0 Amanzimtoti
    Queensburgh High School 2-0 Redwood

While the finalists for the Mancosa KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA) Inland A-League have been determined, the finalists of the Coastal A-League will be determined only after the last round of league fixtures, on Tuesday, 3 June.

This season’s matches in the Coastal and Inland A-Leagues have proven to be exceptionally captivating, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. SuperSport Schools Commentator Sibonelo Zulu told SuperSport Schools Plus that the games have been more fiercely competitive than ever before.

    Coastal A-League

There has been little to separate the top sides in the Coastal A-League since round one. The four leading teams – Westville Boys’ High, Hillcrest High, Glenwood High, and Port Shepstone High – have set the stage for a final showdown to determine who will advance to the final.

Currently, Westville holds the top position with 16 points, followed closely by Hillcrest High, on 15 points. Glenwood, in third place, also has 15 points, while Sheppie sits on 12.

“The KZN Coastal League is the more fascinating of the two streams for obvious reasons. I mean, you have the top four teams all in with a shout of securing a top two spot heading into the last round of matches next week,” Zulu enthused.

He said all four teams are at risk, especially the back-to-back Coastal League champions, Glenwood. Should they lose to Westville next week, they will relinquish their chance at a hattrick of titles.

Given their title wins in 2023 and 2024, the Green Machine missing out on the final would be quite unusual. Even when they didn’t claim the title, they played in the final in 2022, going down 0-1 against Westville.

In 2023, Glenwood got by Port Shepstone in a penalty shootout. Then, in 2024, they avenged their previous defeat to Westville in the final two years’ earlier. If they’re to have any hope of a three-peat, they need three points next week.

Westville Boys' High opened their league campaign with a 1-0 win over Bechet in the rain. In round three, they beat previously undefeated Hillcrest High 3-0. Photo: Brad Morgan.

On Tuesday, Glenwood picked up another three points, courtesy of a 2-0 walkover due to Bechet‘s failure to honour the fixture.

Although that full haul was welcomed. coach Khaya Mgwengwe would feel disappointed by that outcome. He values the experience of his players earning their victories on the field.

Westville, meanwhile, defeated Northwood School 2-1.

Ntando Ngcobo netted the opening goal for Westville from the penalty spot, while Dayyan Fudu, a contender for the Golden Boot Award, scored the decisive goal.

In another Coastal A-League fixture, Hillcrest High scored a 2-0 win over Empangeni High, with Mohale Sakuneka netting a superb free kick, while Ayedan Whitby scored a tap-in at far post after an amazing run from Tanaka Chinodakufa.

Zulu praised Hillcrest High’s gutsy showings. “Often dubbed the underdogs [Hillcrest High], now has a shot of securing a top two spot and playing in their first ever Coastal League final,” he said.

“The 2025 KZN Coastal League is everything a football fan dreams of seeing transpiring in an elite league.”

In another key result, Port Shepstone, after suffering consecutive losses, returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Pinetown Boys’ High. They’ve given themselves a shot at reaching the final, but, with 12 points, they’re the outsiders heading into the last round of matches.

The fact of the matter, though, is that the top four teams hold their fortunes in their own hands. That’s because next week’s games have them playing one another.

Port Shepstone tackles Hillcrest High, while Westville takes on Glenwood. It couldn’t have been scripted better.

    Inland A-League

Zulu told SuperSport Schools Plus that at the outset of the season, there were four teams likely to contend for the Inland A-League title. They included Carter High School, the defending champion, and two-time league winner.

Since 2018, Maritzburg College has appeared in six consecutive Inland A-League finals and, in 2023, they famously won the treble under the leadership of Mateo Horstead.

The newly promoted Edendale Tech High School boasts a dedicated, outstanding football programme, while Alexandra High School is regarded as the sleeping giant of the game in the region.

“The cream was always going to rise to the top, and Carter and Maritzburg College, who played only eight minutes of the opening game of the Inland A-League due to inclement weather, meet again in the final,” Zulu said.

On Tuesday, the Red, Black and White defeated Linpark 3-0, to secure a place in the title decider. Mazithi Qasha, who has been prolific scoring form this season, once again found the back of the net, scoring the opening goal for College.

Coming off the bench, Ndzolo Ngcemu scored their second with his very first touch of the game, while Wandile Zondile added a third goal to ensure College progressed to the final.

They still have one last match to play in the regular phase of the season, on Tuesday, 3 June, against Haythorne Secondary, before they take on Carter High in a rematch of the 2024 final.

Maritzburg College will go into that match as the favourite because Haythorne is at risk of relegation. They’re bottom of the table with only two points to their name.

Carter High, the reigning champion, appears to be in excellent form, yet they remain cautious of the formidable adversary they will face in the gold-medal game

Carter trails Maritzburg College by two points in the standings after they clinched their place in the final with a 2-0 victory over Haythorne, with Adunyiswe Sibiya and Lwanele Mkhize netting for the winners. They face Alexandra High A on Tuesday.

“Destiny, some would say, but I strongly believe that they are the two [Carter High and Maritzburg College] most well-run schools in the Inland League, with a synergy from the junior ranks,” Zulu said. “The Coaches and players all sing from the same hymn book.”

    Westville 2-1 Northwood
    Glenwood 2-0 Bechet
    Hillcrest High 2-0 Empangeni
    Port Shepstone 2-0 Pinetown

    Inland A

    Maritzburg College 3-0 Linpark
    Ixopo 4-0 Newton
    Edendale 2-0 Alexandra High A
    Carter High 2-0 Haythorne

Note: The Coastal B-League have been moved to Wednesday, 28 May, instead of Thursday, 29 May. The hosting venue is still Queensburgh High School, and the times haven’t changed.

Some surprising results caught the eye in schools’ football action in the Free State and the Eastern Cape during the past week, with Virginia High School and Dale College among the losers, but Grey College continued its strong season.

Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League (Friday fixtures)

On Friday, in a Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League, Virginia High was unexpectedly defeated 1-0 by St Anne’s Technical School, with Makume Molemela netting the decisive goal for St Anne’s.

Virginia High’s Soccer Manager, Lekhoba Ngakane, told SuperSport Schools Plus that the fixture between the two schools is always highly anticipated. St Anne’s, he said, is always a tough challenge.

St Anne’s is, also, often underestimated, but they possess one of the best football programmes in the Free State. In 2024, their u13 team finishing as the runner-up in the u13 National Kay Motsepe Schools Championship after a closely contested final against Laerskool Queenswood, from Gauteng, which ended in a 1-2 defeat for St Anne’s.

After four matches in the Magnficicent Wednesday Schools Football League in the circuit nine region, St Anne’s tops the table with 10 points, closely followed by the team they beat in the past week, Virginia High, which has nine points.

In other Magnificent Wednesday Schools Football League matches, Harmony High defeated Marematlou Secondary School 4-1. Mamello Mokoena scored twice for Harmony High, with Buta Makutu and Kananelo Selake also contributing a goal each.

Following a challenging start to the season, it was Harmony High’s first victory following three defeats in succession.

B-Block BWFLA High School Soccer League (East London)

Dale College, whose football fortunes have ebbed and flowed in recent seasons, experienced a setback in their latest outing, going down 1-2 to Cathcart High School.

Stutterheim High School has risen to prominence over the past two years, and it is only a matter of time before the nation recognises their efforts, especially if they sustain their current level of performance.

On Wednesday, they won once more, defeating the Centre of Excellence 1-0, which extended their unbeaten streak in the league to six games, and earned them three points.

Selborne College secured a 2-1 win against Hudson Park High on Wednesday. On Friday, Hudson Park was back in action, taking on Merrifield College. This time, Hudson finished on the winning side, triumphing 3-1.

Merrfield had been in action the day before, playing to a goalless draw with George Randell High School.

    Mangaung Schools Football League

Hindered by adverse weather conditions, the Mangaung Schools Football season has got off to a sluggish start.

On Friday, regrettably, another incident, not the weather this time, impacted the beautiful game, with most of the schools being unable to participate due to a South African Democratic Teacher’s Union (SADTU) mass meeting affecting fixtures. However, a few matches were played, with Grey College continuing their winning streak.

They handed Bloemfontein South High Secondary School a 3-1 defeat. That win was part of a gratifying week for Grey College, as they also advanced to the last 16 of the Curro Halala Cup after securing a 1-0 victory against Kyrios Independent School.

That victories places Grey among the final 16 teams that will compete in the Curro Halala Cup in August at HeronBridge, in Gauteng, alongside schools such as Clapham High, Glenwood High, Hillcrest High, and Navalsig.

In another Mangaung Schools Football League clash, Heatherdale Secondary A defeated Bloemfontein High School 2-0.

Kyrios Independent School, after their narrow loss to Grey, restored their confidence with a tight 1-0 victory over Sehunelo Secondary School.

Petunia Secondary School played to a 1-1 stalemate against Vulamasango High, while Grassland Secondary clinched a 3-2 victory over Kagisho Comprehensive Secondary.

Legae Commercial Secondary emerged victorious in their match against Dr. Block Secondary, winning 2-0, while Hodisa Secondary School clinched a close 2-1 win over Lereko Secondary.

On Sunday, action in the u17 Gauteng Women’s Development League (GWDL) was characterised high-scoring games, highlighted by Mamelodi Sundowns overwhelming Highlands Park 10-0.

The match between the Brazilians and Highlands Park was anticipated to be the match of the week, with Sundowns entering the contest on the top of the GWDL table, while Highlands Park was in third place.

Home ground advantage belonged to Highlands Park, but that appeared to make no difference whatsoever to coach Rhoda Muladzi’s team. They tend to dominate whether home or away, which is one of the reasons that they are the two-time defending GWDL champion.

On Sunday, Sundowns had clear and total control of their clash with Highlands Park, from the first whistle to the last.

They were not the only Pretoria club that performed well. Refilwe FC and the University of Pretoria (Tuks) also excelled.

Tuks took on Tornado Academy Ladies FC and scored four goals without reply.

Sihle Tshabalala opened the scoring for Tuks. Daniella Human, assisted by Jazz Netshilaphala, netted the second goal and, shortly before the first half concluded, Anastasia Freitas scored from a free kick.

Early in the second half, Daniella Human netted her second and the fourth for her team, this time receiving an assist from Bokang Madileng.

Refilwe FC also kept a clean sheet, defeating Dinoko Rondebult FC 3-0, with Linamandla Bahlehle, Thando Mndaweni, and Bokang Matebesi each contributing a goal.

At Norkem Park High School, JVW performed superbly in an emphatic 5-0 win over Kenneth FC.

Zahra Camroodeen bagged a brace for JVW, while Mbalenhle Nkosi, Saniyya Mahomed, and Mya Manikus were also on the score sheet.

In other matches, SAFA Academy defeated Kempton Park 4-0, while Remember Elite Sport Academy (RESA) received a 2-0 walkover due to Sporting CP’s failure to fulfil their fixture.

Edenvale and Panorama FC played to a 0-0 stalemate, resulting in both teams sharing the points.
