There is some good news for school rugby enthusiasts from all over the world. All the matches of this year’s Wildeklawer Festival in Kimberley will be live streamed by DigiTV.co.za.
This year’s Wildeklawer will kick off with a match between the hosts, Diamantveld, and Stellenberg on Wednesday, 1 May. This will be a tough test first-up for Diamonds.
Win or lose they will, however, enjoy the extra day off before taking on Waterkloof in the main match on the final day.
It is very difficult to identify only one match as a standout, with all the exceptional clashes that are scheduled for Wildeklawer. There is however one that will excite most schoolboy rugby supporters. The match of the festival will without a doubt be the clash between Grey College and Paarl Gimnasium on Saturday.
